Camera App Completely Broken

I just went to try and take a picture which I rarely do and the app is completely unresponsive and doesn't even show the camera just the app controls. I haven't restarted it because I've heard some G7's are shown to be bootlooping. Any ideas?

Boot looping seems to be confined right now to T-Mobile Europe from what I've read, so if your not in those areas you will probably be ok to reboot your phone.
