After I updated to 8.1 Play Store automatically installed AR stickers when it ran app updates right after the 8.1 install.

Pixel exclusive or will it come to Android as a whole?

I wouldn't use it regularly, not a make or break feature, but I enjoy photography and could have fun.

I believe it will eventually come to all others. For now it is Pixel only.

Make sure you're in camera mode (swipe left if in video mode), then Menu>AR Stickers.

As others have experienced, I'm not sure why the camera goes to video when selecting AR Stickers in the menu. Hopefully that gets changed or becomes a setting.

Just got the 8.1 update at midnight on Rogers here in Canada. Downloaded the ARCore update this morning.

Updated to 8.1. AR Stickers are supposed to be under the menu bar in the camera app. They ain't showing in mine.

Moving on, who can get closest to guessing my IQ without going over (hint, this issue proves its in the double digits).

I think you have to download the apps, and then you'll have an AR stickers option off of the hamburger menu in your camera.

Correct. Once you get 8.1 you should see an update in the Play Store that you can download to get the AR Stickers.

Very fun, but the pics are not showing up in google photos. I can see the files when using a file browser, but they are not making thumbnails, so maybe that is it. Anybody else have this problem?

where the heck is this month's update?! lack of is keeping me from geeking out on this functionality.

I've cleared the cache, rebooted, mashed the check for update button...NO UPDATE. I even re-enrolled in the beta..
