iPhone xs max or pixel 3 ?

Won't be popular on this board, but I think they are both great cameras. Most reviews seem to say to Pixel 3 is a little more consistent, but they are both solid. Seeing a lot of both, I go back and forth.

Cameras seen pretty even, video better on the iPhone, sound better on the iPhone.

Yes slightly disappointed in the video, but that is not why I buy a phone it is just a nice benefit.

Same as myself, video is not a top priority as I prefer to take decent still photos.

Have used the all iPhone and Pixels, always preferred still pics from Pixel (nothing beats it) but videos always loved iPhone more than the Pixel. Based on early reviews looks like that's going to hold this year at well.
