Camera blackout issue

On my droid x I have issue with the camera when I open the camera app all I get is a black screen. Also when I open the barcode app I also get a black screen. Have anybody else had this issue.

Of two phones I bought, one had this and they replaced it.

I thought that the update was supposed to fix that. Did you get the update yet?

Factory reset. If that doesn't work it probably means the camera has failed.

I updated my phone is morning when I woke up. But the is was present before and after the update. But I will try the factory reset.

Try a different camera app. The stock camera app on mine locks up. Other camera apps work just fine.
