Camera causing restarts

Hi all, I need your input. I have cleared cache and data on the built-in camera app, but again it forced a reboot when I went to use the camera. All I can think of is doing a factory reset. I'm unrooted and 5.0.1. I'm not even sure a factory reset would help since I did one after the latest update. Thanks.

I haven't tried safe mode, but the issue happens randomly and not all the time. I will look into it though.

I had the same problem. I pulled out the SD card and reinserted it. This solved the problem for me. I have my phone saving my pics to the SD card.
