Camera clicking noise?

When I exit the camera app on my Nexus 7, it makes a clicking sound.
Is this normal?

They all make some noise, but most are pretty low so you need to put your ear to the top to hear it. Some are loud enough that you'll hear it w/o even getting close.

I don't know if that makes it any less reliable because I don't know what the clicking signifies.

Not sure if its normal or a problem in the long run but I hear it also. It sounds like the top speaker comes on when I launch the camera app then goes off when I exit.

Have you noticed that when this happens the screen has gotten brighter or dimmer? Many times, when you access the camera, the screen will go on to full brightness, and when you exit, it will go back to the assigned settings. It could very well be the sound of the backlight.

It happens no matter what level of brightness my screen is set to.
