Camera defaulted to 9.6MP instead of 13MP

Just wanted to make sure you guys knew to switch your camera over to 13MP from 9.6 You can do this by going to the camera and selecting the gear settings icon, click the resolution and select 13MP

I noticed this early on and, honestly, I left it on 9.6MP. The 9.6 setting has a 16:9 aspect ratio, which fits the phone's screen perfectly, where as the 13MP setting is 4:3, leaving black bars on either side. Ultimately, this doesn't really matter much to me since I rarely ever take photos, but if I do I like them to fit the phone's screen.

I think that's only true for the Verizon preorder phones which were shipped out on 10/4 (the one's in the white boxes)... :-$

My tmobile version is the same way, that's to prevent you from coming on this forum and complaining about not being able to use the whole screen when taking a picture. .lol

Lol they are all shipping that way not just ones FROM BUSINESS DIRECT lol

13mp is too big for me to use for daily photos... for regular stuff I use 8mp.
