So I just got my Note 10+ today and Im really happy with it, but when I tested the camera I was disappointed. My previous phone was S8+, so I tested my note 10+ against S8+. S8+ to my surprise looked better in some photos :/ Also S8+ has more vibrant colors.

My photos are coming out phenomenal. I am, however, noticing something odd with recording.

I did a side-by-side, 4k 60fps comparison of the rear camera with an iPhone XS Max. The video for the Note came out very warm. I realized I may not have had HDR settings matched up so going to try that again.

Note 10 camera system is outstanding. There is visible improvement over dynamic range compared to the S10. And very thrilled Samsung isnt applying stupid over saturation to its post processing. Comparing to my iphone 10 max, note 9 and s10 the image quality definitely better.

I noticed the camera better than the Note 9 straight out of the box. The wife commented also.

I like the bright oversaturated colors even though they do not reflect reality. I like it when photos look better than the subject really is. I'm not saying it is better. It is not. Just what I prefer. I also like to increase the blue saturation on my phone. I really hate warm tinted screens.

I'm pretty happy with this camera and I've compared it to my Pixel 3 XL. Now don't get me wrong, Pixel is hands down the best but I'm definitely not complaining about my Note 10+.

Yep, pixel 3 xl better. I am a bit disappointed. This means I have to get pixel 4 XL and that's a problem now LOL

This time around it's close , probably be up to the user which they like more , but I believe pixel 4 going blow everything away .

I'll probably wait 2 to 3 months post release and snatch one on Craigslist for heavy discount. Will be enjoying my note 10+ until then.

Hahaha I'm right there with you, I'll be in the preorder forum for the Pixel 4 🤦🏾*♀️ I've got an addiction.

Is the pixel 4 xl going to be a better phone than the note 10 plus? I'm loving it at the moment and the screen is amazing.

Do Google do mega trade in incentives like Samsung?

No they don't. The camera will be better yes. If it was not for the camera, pixel phones won't be on my list. I like everything else more on the note 10+. Give me the pixel camera on the Note and I don't need anything else.

By the way, note video is much better. Took one today and pretty impressed.

Samsung cameras are not consistent like a pixel or apple but if you play with it you should get great photos.

I think you need to give it some time. Get used to the settings, know how to adjust it in certain lighting,/environment settings. I've taken some I'm not pleased with, but plenty O really like.

Haven't taken much pictures yet but I did notice that some look over-sharpened. Others looked really good.
