Camera disappoints me-AGAIN!

Have you experienced the issue before on Samsung phones or is it just this particular one? I’ve never seen anyone point out any camera issues with the S10.

The pet hair fuzziness is probably caused by the aggressive noise reduction AI...but it should be (in theory) counteracted by the ‘Pet mode’ via scene optimiser.

As MD said, going to manual/pro mode and keeping everything on auto apart from shutter speed might help...good luck with fixing your issue! :D
I messed with the ISO which was the previous suggestion and no dice. Same results. But turning Screen Optimizer back on certainly made an improvement.

Bumping up the ISO would introduce more grain and not reduce motion blur if that's the problem. The trick is to use a faster speed and if it's too dark in preview bump up the ISO slightly but try not to go above 400

First picture has more color pop, second better detail. Which one is more realistic?
The second is closer to what his hair looked like in that lighting. The first is closer to what his hair looks like in daylight, which he wasn't in daylight. So in this situation, the second was more accurate to what I was seeing with my eyes. It's kinda weird haha.

The first is my S10+ and the second is my Pixel 3a XL.

Some people like less accurate colors...lol. I prefer what looks most like the actual scene, but sometimes it also depends on what the media is your using to view. I tend to like the Google shots better. It's funny, MKBHD did a blind test on cameras....a lot of people did not always pick the best rated phones.

But I don't know which is the pixel photo? You asked us to pick fav pic. I explained why I couldn't choose

I said which is which a few posts above. The first is the S10+ and second is Pixel 3a XL. His hair under the lighting conditions in which I was shooting is more accurate in the Pixel photo.

With that being said, which do you prefer?

I always go for accuracy but having never seen the dog the inaccurate color was prettiest so I'd put the first one in a magazine photo. In other words the first was prettier but if it were my dog I would want it to look like my dog really looks. Does that make sense?

Yep, totally makes sense. Thanks for your feedback!
