Camera Flash crashes phone

More often than not, when I go to take a photo with flash, it crashes the phone and I have to take the battery out and restart the phone. I did a factory reset from within the phone and I still have the same problem. Anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening?

Did you ever find a solution? I'm having the same problem. They sent me a new phone and same problem.

yes. It seemed it only happened with extra batteries that I bought which didn't have enough power for the flash. It never happened with the oem battery. I solved it by buying higher quality extra batteries.
