Camera flash sometimes doesn't work.

The camera flash sometimes won't turn on. I have to restart the phone to get it to work. Happened on both of my note 3's

Anyone else have this problem?

When doesn't it work? Is it random? Is the flash setting set to ON, OFF, or AUTO? Is smart stabilization on? What's the scene like?

Smart stabilization off. Scene is auto mode. Flash set to on.

I used Tesla led to turn on the flash, and it won't turn on either.

It is random and happens occasionally

Clear data on that app and then uninstall it. Try to install tiny flashlight and see if that works better. The reason I say that is because that app was last updated on Dec. 12, 2011. It may be doing something wacky that causes your problem.

Yes, I have had this happen, too. Rebooting the phone seems to fix it.
Once, rebooting didn't work and I had to do a factory reset, in order to get the flash back. It is a problem with both the Samsung camera app that can't be reinstalled as well as with any flashlight app that I have tried.
