When I try and take a pic with the Camera app the flash simply will not turn off and it will not allow me to take a photo.

My original Nexus 4 had this issue. This is a replacement device from Google. Its doing the same thing. Any suggestions?

Will not turn off or on? If on, simply long press the screen in your camera app and change the flash setting from auto flash to always flash. I find auto flash too sensitive as well and choose to use always flash.

I was in a bar where the lighting was low and there were alot people. It was set on auto flash. I gave the phone to a friend who pressed the blue button. The flash came on, but wouldn't take a picture and on top of that it the led flash wouldn't turn off. I had to press the home screen button to turn it off manually. Will changing the setting to Always flash fix this? This seems to happen when the Camera has to focus on multiple subjects and when it's very low light.
