Camera Folder missing from inside DCIM folder

[Android Central Question]

When I go to transfer pictures from my Alcatel Pop 4+ phone to my pc, i go to DCIM folder one one of my phones. I show hidden folders and camera folder appears showing 250 photos out of a possible 1200. I transfer them to pc but the other 1000 or so I cannot find to transfer. They just wont show up in camera folder.

Then on my other phone (same model), I go to DCIM folder, and there is no camera folder (even after clicking show hidden folders). Can anyone please advise on this.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure the photos are saved to Internal Storage? Could they be on the SD card instead?
