Camera freezes

My DX's camera screen freezes now when I start it up. If I open the camera, it'll act normal for about 3 seconds, then the screen image freezes and I can't take a picture. Oddly enough the whole app doesn't freeze, I can still change the flash settings and all. I tried going into app data and FC'ing it and clearing data to no avail, battery pull didn't help. Any ideas?
