Camera gesture problem

It's quit working on my phone. It will after I reboot it but then it will stop working. Anyone else with this issue?

Have you tried clearing the cache for the camera? Go to Settings>apps>swipe over to all apps>scroll down to camera>click on it>click clear cache. See if that helps.

Are you talking about activating the camera with the volume up button?

If yes, then of course in order for the gesture to work the screen must be off, and you must hold your M8 horizontally.

It's off and held horizontally. It only works right after I reboot then stops
