Camera glass cracked on its own...

I've had the S7 Edge since August 28 and have babied this phone ever since. Bought a case and went to buy a screen protector a week after getting the phone at Best Buy. The guy was going to put it on but noticed my camera glass had a hairline crack across it. I held off getting the protector and brought the phone back to Rogers and told the manager about my issue. They said that it would be considered my fault and I would have to contact Samsung in order to see what they could do about it. I'm waiting to hear back from Samsung but has anyone else experienced their camera glass cracking on its own?
