I can't seem to find out how to turn on HDR+. I also can't figure out how to use the telephoto because I zoom all the way in and it's x8. It is the same as my Pixel 2xl. Can anyone help shed some light on this? Thanks!

HDR+ is on by default and is shown in real time on the screen so no need to turn it on or off. You can manually adjust when you tap on the screen to focus you'll get two sliders. One to adjust exposure and the other to adjust the HDR.

Just double tap on the screen to switch between lenses.

Hmm ok, I was hoping for a dedicated button for HDR+. Double tapping on the screen does nothing regarding lens changes. Is 8x the max zoom?

Double tapping the screen while in photo app switches mine to 2x. And yes 8x is the max. If does some awesome editing stuff and even at 8x the pictures are quite awesome.
