Camera - is it really slow?

I like to take pictures of my small daughter who is always on some run.

And I see they say camera is slow and sluggish.

Can someone verify?

Also if I take picture of something (some normal or auto mode) if that object moves before picture is 'processed' (goes in gallery or whatever) does it look normal or blurry?

Or better can it take pictures of someone running and that they look normal?

The camera has gotten faster with updates. I also find it is faster when choosing "Professional" mode than standard mode.

There is also a rapid fire (burst mode), I believe, that should help with actions shots.

I have not had any problem with blurred action shots but catching the exact moment of the desired pic is not always possible.

The phone is great overall but the camera is not its strong suit. The Moto G5Plus may be a better choice for you if you want to stay in this price range as it doesn't have a shutter lag.
