Camera Issue after screen replacement

I dropped and cracked my phone a few days ago and bought a replacement screen on ebay. I just replaced it and everything seems to work fine except saving most types of still images from the camera.

I can take videos
I can take panamama shots
I can take continuous shots
I can take action shots.

When I go to take any type of single shot picture, it seems to take the pic but the image it comes up with is currupted and not viewable on either the camera or a PC. I've tried swapping out a different microSD card.

I'm running Gingerbread-EH06.

Any suggestions? Did I manage to screw something up with the hardware when I swapped the screen? The fact that it does take videos and other types of pictures gives me some optimism that it's a software fix...but nothing I've tried helps.

I also just realized that the last good picture I took with the phone was the day before I dropped it initially...so it's very possible any hardware problem might be due to the initial fall, not the screen replacement.

Bump....anyone have any clue? Like I said, everything else that uses the basic camera functionality works fine except saving a single still photo.

Back all up and format your SD card this may help maybe u damaged the camera check all the connections you could have damaged something as well...

I work in a cell repair shop and I see this kind of thing all the time people bring in phones they try to fix them self really should be left to a pro

Thanks for the reply gitit. I had already tried a spare/formatted SD card. The confusing thing to me is that if it's a damaged camera then why would it still take perfect HD videos? I will try taking it apart again and checking the connections...that is a good suggestion.
