Camera Issue

The first time I try to use the camera every day I get the same issue. Double press the home button to launch camera and the app launches and then freezes at black screen. Click home button and double press again, same thing. The only thing that works is to unlock the phone go into the apps and then click the camera app. After that it works fine the rest of the day. Any ideas?

Uninstall your updates, restart and try it again?

Can't uninstall the native camera app. How would you uninstall updates?

Does it only do it from double press?

I think you can't Uninstall Google camera updates after applying April or March updates.

This happens to me also. Works fine every time if I unlock the phone. I just set up a gesture to launch the camera swiftly.

I'll keep an eye on this thread assuming someone has a solution. It's not too big of a deal to me though.
