Hello

I am a long-time Galaxy S8 user since the very beginning actually and before that had a Galaxy S6

Around the time the S8 released I noticed 4K footage recorded from the camera was very grainy and after hours and hours of looking and trying to fix I just gave up and stopped recording in 4k ( I replaced the first S8 with this new one I am using same issue)

I've been using my video camera a lot more recently and I started recording in 1080p 60fps and the autofocus just doesn't work... when I tap to focus it'll focus fine but if I move the camera from my daughter to a tree far away it won't focus until I tap the screen.

I recently factory reset my phone so that's not an issue. And I have all the settings for the camera to normal

am I missing something or is this just another hardware problem like the grainy 4k?

In the camera settings, do you have both Tracking AF and Video Stabilization toggled on? That does the trick for me, in any video mode.

video stabilization is greyed out when on 60fps and tracking auto focus doesn't seem to help.

So greyed out video stabilization when in 60fps and tracking auto focus ON and OFF no help
