Camera lag?

Anyone else notice with the new GB update that the camera is a bit laggy? Or is it just me. On 2.2 I was able to just take a pic and walk away. now I have to snap the pic..wait a couple seconds then it takes it. Any ideas?

Yea I have had the same problem, have not found anything to help it tho... I just don't use it really

It's always been laggy. Only cameras I've seen without noticeable lag are DSLRs or high-end point-and-shoots. IOW, "real" cameras that are just cameras, in the $500-$5000 range.

My wifes iphone has almost zero lag. Iphone 3.

Huh. My iPhone 3G had shutter lag, my (multiple) BB Storm 2 had shutter lag, my DX has shutter lag. Granted, the DX's is the worse, but it's always been there and has also been there on all my prior smartphones. (Of the three, IMO the Storm 2 has the best actual camera.)
