Camera laggyness

Is there a way to make the camera in the evo useful. I can only take pics of things that don't move. Every picture I take of my daughter is a blurry mess and gets deleted. She wanted me to take a picture of here on the slide and it was impossible.

Are these low light conditions? With or without flash?

Using the camera is largely dependant on ambient light, the subject, etc.

Have you tried setting the ISO to the highest level? The ISO settings are in the camera settings. If that doesn't work I saw an app in the market called rapid shot. I think it is more for burst shots but it did say is was good for high speed shots as well. Might be worth checking out.

You'll need the flash for moving things, unless you are in very bright daylight.
