It seems this camera has really bad lens flare when facing a little towards the sun. I had a Razer phone 2 before and I never really had a problem with lens flare. Does this happen with most Samsung phones or just the Fold 3?

Lens flare can be caused by a variety of factors in a camera/lens combination.
Do you have any kind of protector over the lens? I know that often results in problems.
It's also possible It's simply worse due to the larger image sensor requiring a larger lens opening. Unfortunately cell phone manufacturers don't go into detail on the lens they use or if it is coated to help prevent this. I haven't used either phone so I can't say if this is normal or not between them.
