camera light coming on when not using camera

The camera light keeps coming on when not using the camera. The only thing that turns it off is re-starting the phone. Help!!!

Welcome to Android Central! Is it flashing, or turning on and staying on? You're talking about the camera LED flash, right?

Go to Settings>Accessibility>Hearing, and make sure Flash Notification is not checked.

Thank you for the welcome! Trying to find help for a few issues and stumbled here.
Followed your suggestion and box not checked.
The light comes on and stays on. I haven't correlated it to a specific function I am doing on the phone. Again it stays on steady until I re-start the phone. Yes, the camera led light...

Does it persist in Safe Mode? That can tell you if it's a 3rd party app causing the issue. https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10696
