All of the fun camera modes I loved on the S8 are gone! No animated gifts, no surround shot, no dual shot. That's disappointing.

Ill start by saying those were modes I rarely to never used. But for starters, the GIF mode is buried in the camera settings. See attached.

Thank you I hadn't noticed it because I have all pics going to my SD card. Now If I could get my surround shot and dual back I'd be coo!

Those no longer work on the s9.. At least not for me

By surround, do you mean panoramic?

The dual shot was added by installing an app from the galaxy app store. Perhaps they'll do the same at some point.

No. Surround was a sort of 360 degree picture of an object(or person) that u could manipulate sort of. Think Google Earth before you zoom into it. That's the best explanation I could come up w.

+1 on missing this mode. AKA Photosphere.

if sammy dont add these eventually, it'll probably be my last galxay. didn't pay top dollar for less features..
