Camera on my blu53

How do I stop my phone from just turning on the camera almost Everytime the phone is touched? I just got it 2days ago n this is a annoying problem?

Is that the last app that was open or does the phone have any sort of shortcut to the camera app (like 'double tap the back to open X app' or a button press perhaps)? When you say 'touched', is that touching the screen, tapping, placing it on a table, etc.? You could test this as well on 'Safe Mode' to see if any 3rd party app or shortcut was causing this.

If this isn't a software feature you can turn off, by the way, I'd just go ahead and exchange this under warranty. You shouldn't have this type of issue on a new device lest it be a feature you didn't know about.

It will turn camera on even if the phone is just laying on the table. So I guess I was wrong by saying every time it's touched. Idk I jus got the phone. But it's aggravating

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Introductions forum to the General Help forum, since it's not really an intro.

Have you already tried Safe Mode as suggested by SpookDroid? https://www.hardreset.info/devices/blu/blu-g33/safe-mode/ (That's for the Blu G33, but it should also work for your phone.)

If it's happening while on a table 'on its own', try checking any active smart assistants; the phone might be picking up a word that sounds like the wake up command and camera.
