Yet another issue i have found :(

Because the Samsung camera app automatically gets really bright when you open the camera app, it appeared initially that photo's were good/crisp.

I decided to do a test today along side my 11 Pro max with the brightness turned up (as the iphone does not bump up the brightness when you open the camera app) After doing this i noticed that the photos on the iphone looked as good if not better.

The biggest difference i noticed is when i crop in on a photo, even just a small amount on the Samsung and i began losing detail and things got blurry whereas the iphone kept things detailed and honestly looked better.

Im not here to hate and im certainly not saying the camera is crap but i was not expecting my 11 pro max to take more detailed photos.

Is this just how the Samsung processing works or is it possible i just have a bad unit?

Maybe this is why they are slowly rolling out and update that supposedly improves the camera on the S21 series. Not sure, just a guess

Samsung very bright when u open the camera been forever , some situations I like my iPhone 11 pro better but other I like Samsung.

Listen. I think this phone is great man. The issues i am having are not major issues. For instance the camera is by no means bad BUT i did not expect for my 11 pro max to take more detailed photo's. That was a surprise. Its only noticeable when i crop in. I personally think the camera's on iphones are massively under rated.

The whatsapp audio thing is annoying but i can live with it. I actually received an update for it tonight but it made no difference. I can still receive and play voice messages and i can hear what is being said but they just sound muffled/worse then they did when received through whatsapp on the iphone. If they are sent to me on facebook etc they sound fine so i am guessing its a whatsapp issue not samsung issue although oddly the update has not resolved this nor have i experienced this before with previous samsung devices.

Biggest issue is arguably the delayed notifications.

I love this phone but in truth i have been shocked that i am missing IOS. Much prefer the Samsung in terms of look and feel but in every day use its just more prone to bugs / occasional glitches then the iphone is. Battery life is arguably better too. Standby time for sure!

Im gonna give myself a little more time with this device but i have a feeling i may be coming back to the iphone sooner then expected
