I've seen some awesome pix taking with the droid but I am having a terrible time getting anything with good quality. Is there an optimal settings or what settings are you using to get good images.

The pics attached is an example of quality i get

I too was looking info on the Droid camera. I switched from an iPhone where the camera was quite good. In comparison, the Droid sucks to the point of being unusable. Had a great opportunity to capture some photos at a music festival and the photos were horrible. I hope that a software update will fix this.

i've actually been using 'Pro Paint Camera' (free version) for a while now because i could turn off the shutter sound!! I honestly don't notice much difference between that and the stock camera tho. almost always the images look grainy when at full resolution (5MP)...even the best of my pics, but when sized for mms or my computer screen (22" 1680x1050) they look fine until I zoom in
