Camera question?

When I'm on auto mode I can't change the flash setting, it is set to off and greyed out. Can you turn on the flash in auto?

Of course in manual there is no problem.

This is due to your HDR being on. You can put the HDR in your camera settings to Auto or Off, and have access to your Flash.

Thanks brother, I didn't even realize I had HDR on haha.

Yep. Figured that out. I kept trying to get the flash and realized when the hdr is on (which doesn't look great in low light settings) can't access the flash! The camera rocks though!
