Ok I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the thread. The only thing I don't like about my phone is the fact that when I hold the phone vertical, take a pic, send it to facebook or SMS, it comes up sideways. Has anyone come across a solution?

Did you try taking the photo in the default 16:9 horizontal format and then use the ROTATE function to save the file in the desired orientation? I know that you lose the ideal orientation and a portion of resolution but it might fit the bill. Or vice versa... Take it in the PORTRAIT mode and then rotate it back to HORIZONTAL before sharing. Give these two a shot. You can always delete it from FB if it doesn't deliver what you want.

If you take the picture in landscape, it will rotate automatically. If you take the picture in portrait view, you need to rotate it before sharing anywhere. The phone does not change the picture orientation based on position.
