Camera Resolution

I started this thread on the x2 forum but since i'm a proud member of a droid 3 i'll ask here.

What resolution do you have your camera set to? 8MP or Widescreen (6MP)?

also why do you choose to have it set that way?

The megapixel difference won't matter unless you are making poster size photographs. Even 3 megapixels would be plenty.

I have just left it on the 6mp so far

I set it to max, sometimes I like to edit the original image and to do that you need the maximum size. When I use my Nikon D70 I use both NEF and JPEG so I can do more editing later. Takes up space, but I won't be able to take the same shot again later.

i'm torn because i like having the better quality but i hate having to zoom in on the picture for it to be full screen
