Camera scan function

I've been using Adobe Scan for a few years for scanning documents/receipts and it works great. However it's kind of a slow process (takes a few seconds to acquire, then have to save, then have to rename because the default name has a comma in it which most platforms don't like) if I just need a quick scan like a UPS or FedEx drop off receipt.

That is when the built-in camera scan works best, however I can't always get it to trigger. I always try to present the standard best condition of white document against a dark background, but it's very hit or miss.

Is there a way to trigger it manually, or does it not trigger because conditions aren't right and it probably won't come out well?

I use cam scanner which works best and very easy... Try that...
Even I wanna know how built in camera scanner works..

If you have it turned on it just pops up when you are taking a picture that involves a text document. I've had it pop up at other times too, you tap the scan button and it scans whatever is in the yellow area.

Thanks for that, I actually had it enabled but obviously never used it, I've been using cam scanner since Note 8 I think and it has worked fine so probably why I never paid attention to the built in one
