You could download another app. I'm sure there's one that says cute things like, Say cheese, or, Smile. Probably would still have that classic camera sound for the actual snap... but you never know. They always say, there's an app for that, and maybe there is for this.

It's worth a look.

A few users here have been asking about either turning off the shutter sound on the S10 line or if they can make it another tone. I liked the shutter sound on my S10! Although it's a default setting, it's an interesting thing. I wonder if the OS will one day give you the option to do that, instead of having to download a third-party launcher or the like.

I googled it because I didn't think it was possible, it seems that if you root your phone you can simply replace the audio file with whatever you want.

When I need the shutter sound off, I turn on DND temporarily.

You can use Bixby Routines to create a rule that mutes the System volume while Camera is the active app.
