Camera Tricks & Tweaks

I would assume there will be many camera updates that bring improvement to the shooter shipped with the Galaxy S10 & S10+. My observations are that it needs a bit more contrast in pics where the scene optimizer can't apply a preset and the post processing employs a bit too much overshapening in most cases as well. Has anyone found any settings or tweaks that they feel improve the quality of the camera? How about other camera apps? I know many people port over Google Camera with good results. Anyone have any tricks to improve things while we wait for an update?
