April's "Huge" Camera Update a Huge Disappointment??

So, I'm not all that impressed with this supposed "huge camera" update all the YouTubers were hyping with this April update. In fact, I feel my picture quality has gotten worse. I noticed that the coloring seemed off post update, so I started playing around with the Camera Assistant settings - prioritizing quality, toggling "prioritize focus over speed" on and off, etc. Also playing with toggling scene optimizer on and off and no matter what the color just seems off ... Too yellowy.

Here's just a few examples. The S23 Ultra shots are all various camera settings, but still resulting in very unrealistic coloring. I didn't notice this pre update ... or if it was there it wasn't as drastic. (The comparison pics are from a Pixel 7 Pro)

Anyone else seeing a difference in pics?

You tried camera assistant? In the settings of camera app.
Also I disable screen optimizer, give that a try

Im not sure there was a camera up-date. There was nothing in the Samsung notes on this up-date about the camera. I havent done a lot of shooting since the up-date but I cant see any difference at all.

Well, I think there was a camera update LOL
Came across several videos like these:

Also this thread with an article link:
In this thread the camera version mentioned is 13.1.01.17 ... Post update I have camera version 13.1.01.28, so there appears to have been some sort of update

I noticed that it was having issues with up close pictures and switching lenses to capture "macro" type photos. But my overall signal strength is better. So give and take

I looked at my camera version and had the same ending i 17 and then it updated to the one ending in 28. I just got it and haven't taken any pictures yet.
