I've had the Samsung Moment a week now and believe it or not hadn't even tried using the camera or video until tonight. I've been trying out a lot of apps hadn't had the time, but I thought I would give it a whirl and it is really strange, I click on the camera or video icon and it acts as though it's going to open, which it does actually, but thescreen is blank. If I hit the camera button it will take a picture but I can't see what I am taking. You can hear the "shutter" sound and there is no flash, but I just can't get the camera screen to come up.
I have been considering taking it back even before this happened as the battery life has just about gotten the best of me as I only get about 6 hours of life and I do not text alot or even use the web enough to warrant that much battery usage. I did call Account Servicesfirst then she got Tech Support in on it too and they told me to go ahead and take the phone back and either exchange it or replace it with the Hero if I want but I really don't want to pay the re-stocking fee, but she did offer to credit me that but I thought I would stick it out a while longer. Account Services also sent me another battery to help for my demise about the battery life and I even ordered a new battery the first day to have as a spare so now I have some extra money invested in this phone and don't really know what to do, exchange it for another Moment or go ahead and get a Hero so I am asking for an opinion here as most of you on here have had either one of these phones for a while and can give a little feedback to help me make a decision.
I also am discouraged about there not being any LED notification and I know the Hero has that, but I do like the slide-out keyboard on the Moment, so any advice?
I know I sound crazy here, but I am like a "rose between two thorns" so to speak *hahaha* and just need a little help.
