I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this but the camera seems to get really out of whack in lowish-low light when it comes to white balance. I can't tell if it's just something to do with the app (I haven't tried any other camera apps - but if you have, I'd love to hear your experiences) or the sensor.
For example, the sky was a brilliant blue outside the window of the plane on my way crossing the US last night. I went to take a picture and it seemed to have a ton of trouble with exposure and color reproduction. The outcome was a blown out purple shot. The other example was in my hotel room where the walls were off-white and no matter what setting I chose in the app, they came out a very bright yellow.
