Camera won't zoom since update

Clarification: Here are the steps I took to allow my camera to zoom in the "Easy Mode" option. This will also give you all the features that come with the camera:
- Select "Easy Settings" (not Easy Mode)
-----> Select "More Settings"
------------> Select the "Device" tab
-----------------> Scroll down to "Easy Mode" and select it
Scroll down and under "Easy Applications section" and UNCHECK the camera icon and check the other icons you want to appear in the Easy Mode functionality
Scroll back to top, ensure Easy Mode is highlighted and press the "DONE" tab

I rebooted my phone so I don't know if that was needed or not. Now my camera allows me to zoom with the "Ease Mode" functionality.

My Easy Mode item is set to Standard, and I still get the message that I can't zoom. I'm using a Galaxy S5.

Is anyone else having problems with camera not zooming? It has only started happening after the latest update. It says it can't zoom in its current mode. It will zoom when put on video but not on camera.

Go to camera📷, touch 3x Galaxy Camera Expand Camera Settings, volume key, tick the zoom key."

Are you using the S3? Your menu seems to be quite different from mine. I have changed to Standard Mode as recommended and this appears to have restored the zoom.

Samsung note 3 will not zoom camera and enable multiple window

Samsung note 3's special feature will not work on "easy mode". You will not be able to use multiple window, cannot edit photos, cannot zoom camera and change settings. Therefore, it makes you think something is wrong on your fon.

Easy mode is actually " weird mode". Lol. 😂 Let the settings be constant to standard mode to enjoy the efficiency of your Samsung Note 3. I suffered one year not being able to zoom camera and use multiple window until I discover this tip. Thanks to that simple tip.

Fixed it... thanks guys. Selecting Standard Mode worked. I assume the change was made furing the softwar "upgrade".

It is under Settings (cog icon), My Account, and about fifth item down that menu is "Easy Mode". Tap that and select Standard Mode.
You then have opiotion to zoom with volume rocker or pinch (pinch is new addition I believe).

I have the samsung galaxy S8+ i can not zoom with front camera, i tryed by the pinch and by having the volume control set to zoom and it still says the same thing, it can not do that in this mode. What mode is that. I changed every setting dealing with the front camera. I turned down all setting dealing with picture size and resolution to lowest settings from the highest settings and i can not get it to zoom. What i really hate, is insted of google letting you call them to get help with their product (OS) they tell you to contact the phone manufacture. But when this problem happen updating the OS then you would think to call google and if it was a change in updating by a bug fix from the manufacture it would be nice that the phone manufacture would say it is to fix a problem with their device. But no it just says its an update without telling you what kind of update. Manufacture or OS or both. But no mater what dose google come out and say that hay this is how to solve the problem on this from. Or any form. Will samsung ever do it. No they just let each other, in this form help each other. If no one here can solve the problem then who do we turn to.
