From what people have been posting it sounds like no. I never had the issue to begin with on my one so I can't confirm

Most are saying no, some are saying there is an improvement. I am not seeing any purple any longer, in the dark the phone adjust ISO very quickly which adds a lot of noise but at least its not purple noise and no picture.

Im not on 4.3 yet but on 4.1.2 i took numerous pics in the dark an lowlight an i get the purple. ISO has to be on 100 to get no purple but then its too dark. But purple exist for me on 4.1.2 , im skeptical on 4.3 fixing it unless theres lots of good feedback on 4.3 fixing it.

Well, I suppose the camera noise could be mostly purple and my pictures may have a purple tint. I may just not be noticing it because of how bad it was before, it used to look like I took a picture of a piece of purple paper and you could maybe make out a bit of what I was trying to take a picture of in the center.

Thanks for the replies. I'm in UK so no 4.3 yet. Doesn't seem good news. Is this a case of product not fit for purpose?. Big shouts about great low light camera which is obviously a big fail. Mine is terrible.
