Is there a way to take pics? Not screenshots of what's displayed on screen, but photos?

If you mean taking a picture with your phone by using your watch as a remote, then yes. There apps available in the app store that can do that.

On the other hand if you are trying to take a picture with your watch, then no you can't because it doesn't have a camera.

Wouldn't be an absurd question though. I've seen a smartwatch (Gear S, I think?) that had a camera. Sort of a bizarre feature to have though, if you ask me...
