Can’t set default email app

Wtf?! Been working on this half an hour now. Tried switching back from Samsung email to outlook. Now set as default app is greyed out in both and can’t be selected. It just says none selected and I can’t change it. I recently got a galaxy watch which is why I was trying different email apps. Switching to Samsung email was fine. Now going to switch back it won’t let me set any.

Why don't you just use Gmail?
