Can a novice rescreen an LG OptS? I would love to see a youtube big on how to... And a link to buy the parts won't hurt either...this poor little phone looks like it's been thru WWIII... or could it just be resurfaced like a CD?

Yup you can. Buy a new one off of eBay brand new for under $50.
