Can a transfer file be safely deleted after transfer?

I have a Samsung Note 4 and use Verizon Wireless. I recently successfully transferred everything from a Note 4 to another Note 4. A folder called vztransfer was created during the transfer process. As it occupies >1 gb of storage I would like to delete it. Is it absolutely safe to do so? Thanks for your help.

I don't see any reason why it can't be deleted. My guess is it's an auto copy in case anything goes wrong, but since you should have 2 copies of everything not counting the vzwireless copy, deleting it should be fine.

I agree if everything transfer over , can be deleted
