My phone hasn't been having virus problems. I have CM Security, Lookout, keeper and all that stuff to protect it. My old phone however I was fifteen and under bad influence so I watched porn.. I'm sorry. But I clicked on another website not knowing what a virus is and it said that I may have been infected. Later on that phone had so much issues. I finally got a new one, but I have to use the same SIM card. This last month my Note 4 has been having problems. I haven't been visiting any porn sites or anything wrong since I converted to Christianity. A virus ad thing poped up and I got an app and poof it was gone. Now my phone has been stuck in a reboot loop and it won't turn on without being plugged into the charger. So me being an ***** I plugged my phone into her computer and then it said "downloading samsung info" and I immediately unplugged it. I need help with does a virus transfer by SIM card? Will she get the virus also? And help with the reboot loop? ( I did the volume up reset)

I've never heard of malware transfer via sim. This app you installed will be the culprit, never respond to popups telling you that you have malware, they ARE malware. Samsung runs Android and the laptop will be windows, so malware from one can't function in another. Maybe try boot into safe mode and kill the app...

Chances are, what you saw on the computer was the drivers and such to allow the computer to talk to the phone for file transfers. This happens with pretty much anything with a USB connection. I think most phones nowadays also come with special software that can install on your computer as a stand alone program to give more functionality. I.e. Sync options, checking for phone updates, etc. So I wouldn't worry about that.

Thanks. I knew it was a normal function, but I wasn't for sure if it'd spread by me doing that. Well thanks anyways!

It was an app that I had and got rid of it awhile ago. It did the trick. I just am just wondering. Thank you!
