My cell got soaked in the water it was not opening up, when i went to the shop the repair guy said me it was deadboot so i asked him to install the software again.Even after installing software my cell is now opening up clearly but its screen aint working, i cant undo lock screen basicly screen is not funtioning , so can anybody advise me need help urgent please and one more thing does rice trick will work ????:''''(

AFAIK you should have tried the rice trick immediately after it fell in water.Seems the hardware got affected due to software.
Try the Rice trick.Doesn't hurt to try.
