Can anyone give me a clear definition of GMS?

Ye they are. My understanding is that GMS is just a way of interlocking services to get a better overall experience?
Like saving places you went on Google maps for you to refer back to. Or uber being embedded into the maps app.

hmm this is the thing theres no real clear indication of why its so valuable to android

I think itll take time for the masses to get on board but see it happening quicker than ppl expect
