Can anyone help in identifying what a notification badge means

[Android Central Question]

I had a notification badge at top of my phone which I don't know what it is. It is purple. Shaped like a speech bubble with a smiley face. It is sideways on. It is similar to the dating app meet me icon. Although that symbol is forward facing. Please can someone help work out what the sideways one is. Surely being side on changes the company it is from . Please help

Pull down the notification shade and press the icon found there or pull down the notification shade and press and hold the notification and go to details. All answers will appear there.

Welcome to Android Central! This is your phone, right? If it belongs to someone else, then the best course of action is to ask that person what the icon represents. (We don't discuss violating another person's privacy here, even if it's a significant other.)
