Can anyone help me connect my LG G3 and Nexus 7 (2013) to my PC to use as storage?

LG G3 and Nexus 7 (2013) suddenly won't connect to PC as storage

I'm confused. I used to be able to connect my devices to my PC and back-up/transfer files that way easily. However, both my LG G3 and my Nexus 7 (2nd gen) suddenly stopped connecting to my PC (Windows 7).

I've tried different USB ports, different cords (the phone is charging, so the cord is fine), I tried updating driver software for USB ports on my PC, and downloaded phone drivers from the LG website (incl. PC Sync). I've checked "USB Debugging" under developer options

Nothing.

I don't get an error message or anything. It just won't connect anymore.
Can anyone give me any suggestions on what else to try? Is this a PC issue (my guess) or a device issue?

When this has happened to me in the past I had to completely shut down the phone and restart it, not just reboot. It seems unlikely both of your devices would glitch out at the same time, but it's possible. I'd try completely powering off all three devices, and then restart them all, and hope that happens.
