Just got a Z3. Wifi is killing me
First of all hello
Now to the point. I just received a Z3 yesterday. Got a model from Polish carrier Play (unlocked, a bit of bloatware preinstalled). I connected to my home Wifi to download all my apps. One being Asphalt 8. It went terribly slow, so I stopped all transfers, installed SpeedTest and checked. I got 3,5Mbps dowload speed on my home wifi. I checked it on my PC connected to the same network - 56Mbps was the result. I checked on my old phone - SGS3 (rooted, with CM11) - 40Mbps spiking to 50.
I tried changing saving mode in location services (tried all 3 settings), tried enabling and disabling wifi optimization, tried disconnecting, forgetting my wifi and connecting again, entering airplane mode, turning off bluetooth, changing frequency and channel of my wifi. Didn't change security type of my router (I red that Kitkat doesn't like WEP, but my router is set on WPA/WPA2 Personal and didn't change my 802.11 settings (it's on b/g/n).. I even did a factory reset. To no avail
I've ran out of ideas as to how to fix this issue. Apparently I should just turn off my Wifi and use LTE instead. Anyone had such issues and knows the fix?
